Location
The land plot is located in the city of Vilnius near the main highway to
Kaunas, Lithuania’s second-largest city. It is in an advantageous position as it
sits in close proximity to one of the two main industrial areas in Vilnius but
is closer to the highway with better access and less traffic congestion than
competing areas. Its location makes it ideally suited for an industrial park
serving small and medium sized enterprises.
Development Project
The project concept – unique to the market - is to develop a complex of
flexible-sized industrial units with office/showroom facilities tailored to suit
small and medium size businesses either for rent or for sale. The project is to
build 25000 m2 of units ranging in size from 400 m2 to 1200 m2 on the 5 hectare
commercially designated land plot. Each unit will be served by its own loading
dock.
Surroundings
In addition to its ideal location, the green area at the front of the site
and the adjacent protected forest on another side further enhance its appeal to
businesses which need office and/or showroom facilities along with warehouse
space.
Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania. The city is located in the southeast of
the Baltic country at the confluence of the Neris and VilnelÄ— rivers. In 2007,
Vilnius had 542,785 inhabitants. The capital has an historic Old Town which is a
UNESCO World Heritage Site and which houses Vilnius University, one of the
oldest universities in Europe.
